Dr. Soco

Dr. Rebecca Soco

Dr. Soco came to veterinary medicine through a series of stops and starts. She wanted to work with animals and was passionate about conservation from a young age. She studied biology and environmental studies at Tufts as an undergrad and worked as a veterinary technician for several years. She did not feel that she was making the impact that she wanted to make. She then hopped in a car and moved to San Diego on a whim, where she taught science for many years.

When she was 34, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. This forced her to look at her life and decide what she wanted it to look like- she was not satisfied or fulfilled as a teacher. She made the tough decision to uproot her family and move to Massachusetts for vet school. She knew that she was not interested in traditional clinic work and that she wanted to feel that she was making a difference in the lives of her patients and that she was empowering her clients.

Integrative medicine has allowed Dr. Soco to feel that she is making the impact that she always knew she could for her clients and her patients. She lives in Grafton with her husband, 3 kids, and 3 cats.

Dr. Sheila T. Henriquez

Dr. Sheila T. Henriquez is a caring and enthusiastic veterinarian from Puerto Rico who recently moved to Massachusetts in search of new professional and family adventures. Her love and compassion for animals began in childhood and inspired her lifelong commitment to veterinary medicine.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from the Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico and completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, with clinical training at Iowa State University.

Throughout her career, Dr. Henriquez has focused on improving the quality of life of her patients and strengthening the bond between pets and their families. To better serve their needs, she became certified in animal physical therapy and veterinary acupuncture, allowing her to offer an integrative and personalized approach to treatment.

She enjoys working with pets of all ages, but senior pets melt her heart and puppies and kittens always bring extra joy to her day.

Dr. Henriquez lives in Grafton, Massachusetts with her husband, their three children, and one beloved furry companion. In her free time, she loves practicing yoga, meditating, reading, walking, and staying active.
